Generic Weblog Awards logos were released earlier and may still be used by anyone.

Terms of use for finalist badges

Finalists in The 2006 Weblog Awards are encouraged to place one of the image badges on their site to promote their participation in The Weblog Awards. We've licensed the finalist images badges under a Creative Commons Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs 2.5 License.

The following additional terms apply to the Creative Commons license:

Attribution entails a link to The 2006 Weblog Awards site (http://2006.weblogawards.org) or any individual poll page within The Weblog Awards site.

Use by commercial enterprises is authorized for the purpose of promoting their participation in The Weblog Awards.

The graphic may only be used by those selected as finalists in The Weblog Awards. Use by anyone else is not authorized.

The only allowable modification is that selected finalists may, at their discretion, choose to add the name of their category directly below the existing image. The font used in the graphic is copasetic, with a 3px drop shadow. Any modifications should be consistent with the design of the image.
